Care Home Case Study

Hunters Down, Huntingdon

We were briefed with turning the large reception area of this well established Care Home into a more usable and welcoming space for visitors and residents alike.  We completely re-configured the space, knocking through an underused quiet room to create a new servery area opening straight onto the beautiful gardens.  Carlos’ Cafe (named after a much loved colleague) serves hot drinks and cakes with a range of comfortable seating zones.  The refurbishment was such a big success we were asked to extend our work to the rest of the home…more pictures coming soon!

CARE HOME Case Study

Etheldred House, Cambridge

We were delighted to re-design and project manage the recent large-scale refurbishment of this beautiful home earlier this year.  Over two floors we transformed four corridors, four lounge / dining rooms, a fully equipped activities room and several beautiful bedroom suites.

This home has a thriving dementia care community on the ground floor and the Manager and her fantastic team were keen to create a number of interactive zones for their residents to enjoy.  We liaised closely on the most suitable themes and created an environment to stimulate and engage the residents whilst also ensuring that the main environment was homely, comforting and familiar.

iDesign were honoured to get the opportunity to design and fit out the interior of this incredible building. The client wanted schemes that did justice to the strikingly original architecture of Edwards Court and we delivered.

Cwrt Yr Orsaf Pontypridd

iDesign were delighted to fit out this beautiful building to a really interesting brief…the clients wanted to achieve a highly sustainable fit out using recycled, sustainable and environmentally positive products throughout the scheme.

The Coach House, Stourbridge

The Coach House is a perfect location for a Care Home with views opening onto wooded areas and open fields. Our brief was to refurbish both floors, including converting a dis-used atrium into an elegant Tea Room Cafe with a centre server.
